I’m not sure why but I’d assumed by embarking on this journey, and pushing myself outside my comfort zone it would have some sort of cathartic effect on me, a kind of road to Damascus moment, if you will!

Well so far it hasn’t happened and far from time spent contemplating the meaning of life and reflecting on my journey so far and what I want to achieve in what ever time I have left I have been preoccupied with more mundane thoughts, like, where am I going to stay tonight and how far to the next service station.

I’ve got no doubt that once I settle into the rhythm of the road and get used to being a vagabond I will have the time and opportunity to delve into these deeper thoughts but until then I’ll just try and keep the show on the road and post something to this section when I think I have something worth saying.
